This race is not a sure thing for Democrats.

In our last poll, we were only two points ahead of Mike Garcia, which is well within the margin of error.

No exaggeration, John: Our election could be determined by a handful of votes -- FiveThirtyEight calls it one of the closest House races in the nation. And that's why we need to do everything we can to extend our lead in the last two days.

Mike Garcia has a lot of resources at his disposal. Thanks to his special interest buddies and corporate backers, he outraised us 2:1 last quarter -- and outspent us on TV during this final stretch.

But here's the catch -- we have the people of CA-25 on our side. There are 30,000 more registered Democrats in CA-25, and we can win if we see massive voter turnout. The last thing we can do is leave this to chance. No regrets, John.
