Our Democratic candidates for the U.S. Senate in Georgia are running neck-and-neck against deeply flawed Republican incumbents. The latest polling shows the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff can win their races and secure a Democratic majority in the Senate. Your support can help Raphael and Jon receive 50% — or more — of the vote in their races on Tuesday and avoid runoffs.
Georgia's current Senators, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, are rabid Trump enablers. They’re marching in lockstep with Trump on COVID-19, refusing to accept the scientific evidence. Thousands of Georgians are suffering or dying from the pandemic. Loeffler and Perdue dutifully fell in line with Mitch McConnell, repeatedly stalling on passing a pandemic relief package to help Georgia families who are struggling in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Loeffler, a multi-millionaire who was appointed to the Senate, recently denied having ever heard or seen the infamous “Access Hollywood” video, which caught Trump joking about sexually assaulting women. She and Raphael Warnock are going head-to-head in a special election for one of the Senate seats. Jon Ossoff and ultra-conservative Perdue are running in the regular Senate contest. Team, Georgia Democrats have labored for years to build grassroots momentum and flip Georgia blue. It almost happened two years ago, but Republicans cheated Stacey Abrams out of victory in the governor’s race. We can’t let that happen again.
