John,
Two days. Election Day is in two days.
We're sure you've heard that this is the most important election of our lifetimes. Though it might sound cliché, it's true. And we're making a difference -- our collective engagement this election season is having a real impact. Want proof?
More than 91 million ballots have already been cast, surpassing the 47 million ballots cast early or absentee in 2016. And that isn’t the only voting record that’s been broken:
-
Georgia has seen record turnout during early voting, and experts are predicting that, after Election Day, as many as 6 million Georgia voters will have cast ballots in this year's election, up from 4.1 million in 2016.
-
53% of all North Carolina registered voters have already cast their votes. That’s over 4 million total votes - up more than 1 million from 2016.
- It looks like over 3 million Michiganers will cast a ballot this year. In 2016 less than 1.3 million Michigan voters voted early.
Just look at what we can do when we tap into our collective power!
The early voting turnout across the country has been incredible to watch, but we can’t take our foot off the gas just yet. We want to set record Election Day turnout numbers, too -- especially for women of color. If you haven’t yet cast your ballot, now is the time to make your plan to vote so that you can safely vote on Election Day. And if you already voted by mail, you can complete the act of voting by tracking your ballot to ensure that it’s counted!
We are showing our power as women and voters, and proving that we can mobilize and turn out. Keep the momentum going and make your plan to vote. We can do this!
Thanks for all that you do,
