[1]Women's March
John,
We wanted to make sure you saw our note below inviting you to a special
discussion tonight with our Board Chair, Rinku Sen; long-time feminist,
Micky ScottBey Jones from Faith Matters Network; and author, activist, and
teacher, Starhawk.
With just two days left before the polls close, we’re all feeling a full
range of emotions about the week ahead. That’s why we’re coming together
to connect, lay out what we can expect on election night, and share
practices to stay grounded and steady no matter what.
[ [link removed] ]Join us tonight, November 1, at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT to prepare for what
lies ahead and recharge.

Women’s March
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s been a big week,
John.
We’ve held text and phone banks every single day this week - and we know
all of you have been busy voting, talking to your friends, volunteering,
and more.
We are living through an incredibly intense election season and we’re so
close to the finish line. You may be feeling tired, hopeful, stressed, or
uncertain. That’s why we’re coming together on Sunday to connect, collect,
and ground ourselves for the week and road ahead.
[ [link removed] ]If you’re feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, join us this Sunday,
November 1 at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT to look back at our progress and prepare
for what lies ahead.

During a moment when we can’t gather in person, our virtual connections in
this pandemic are paramount. The conversations we’ve had in our organizing
circles meetings and text banking shifts have given us hope and energy in
this final stretch.
There is a shift happening,
John. Across race and place,
women are coming together to change the course of this country, and you’re
a key part of that.
Women’s political identity as a unified and organized voting bloc is
growing by the day, and if we can continue this momentum, we can defeat
Trump and change the political landscape in this country.
It’s been a very busy month – from 420 sister marches in all 50 states, to
12 million texts sent by 25,000 volunteers. Thanks to all of our work,
women are the greatest threat to Trump’s re-election.
We have a lot to be proud of, but we know that there’s still a lot of work
ahead. Let’s join together with long-time feminists and recharge our
batteries, prepare for what’s to come, and ground ourselves in our
purpose: bringing about justice no matter what lies ahead.

With hope,
Kate Shapiro
