Tomorrow is the last day of our pre-election Fall Fundraising Drive—the
final deadline before what could be the greatest constitutional crisis
we've faced in more than a century: if Donald Trump loses the election
and refuses to accept the results.

Our model of fiercely independent nonprofit journalism is entirely
dependent on our readers. It's your donations that pay the bills and
allow us to maintain our operations in these times of crisis. Without
you, we never could have survived this unprecedented year of pandemic
and economic crash, and we won't be here to protect the results of this
all-important election.
