I wish I had better news to share, John.

Last night was our final end-of-month fundraising deadline. We needed to raise $500,000 to fight back against the more than $85 MILLION Mitch McConnell and his allies are pouring into this race to defeat this grassroots team.

But we fell $87,645 short of our goal.

Folks, I'm not slowing down for a second -- and I'm counting on you to do the same. Plain and simple, there's too much on the line -- from Social Security to affordable health care -- this election for us to let up now.

We only have two days left before Election Day. We can't afford to lose any more ground at this critical moment. So here's the good news: we've extended our deadline until midnight tonight to get our fundraising back on track. Hitting this goal means we can continue full steam ahead, fighting tooth and nail for every single vote.
