Dear Friend, |
This coming Tuesday, Nov. 3, is Election Day, the last day you can cast your vote in this election. If you have not yet voted, please be sure to vote on Tuesday. |
If you have already cast your vote — thank you. |
Your voice at the ballot box is just as powerful as the voice of any attorney in the courtroom. Click here to find your local polling place, track your mail-in ballot, or access your state’s voter information. |
The right to vote is at the heart of our democracy, and elections have profound consequences for our government, our country, and our families. In this election, we will decide who leads our nation, who sits in the next Congress, and which national and local laws will govern us. |
Earthjustice fights for the earth using the most powerful tool available: the law. We hold those who jeopardize the planet accountable and counter the excessive influence of dirty industries. But to be effective, we need strong laws. |
What happens on Tuesday — the votes we collectively cast — will affect laws across our country for generations to come. |
We fight for the planet in the courts. You can fight for it at the polls. |
But once the results are called, our collective fight to defend our planet and communities will not be over. We know the climate crisis doesn’t end after the election, and we are prepared and determined to work toward our shared vision of a just and sustainable future. |
We are in this for the long game, and we know that you are too. |
|
|
|
Sincerely,
Abigail Dillen
