All month long, we've been going all out to catch up to Mike Garcia's fundraising haul. That's why Lexie and the finance folks set a really big goal for October -- they told me we need to bring in $500,000 online to keep up.

I'll be honest, that goal was always a stretch. But I knew grassroots supporters like you would step up and pitch in -- and now we are SO close: just $16,203 short.

John: I know you've probably gotten a million emails from us about a million different fundraising goals over the course of this campaign, but this is our VERY last goal of the cycle, and this is the last time anyone from our team will email before midnight.

We just can't afford to miss this goal and lose the momentum we've built -- going from one point down in the polls to TWO points up.
