Look, John, we’ve known all along that Democrats have a pretty
good shot at flipping the Senate in 2020.

But let’s be honest with ourselves, it’s never just any Democrat -- it’s
about progressive Democrats. It’s about the Democrats who will fight for
Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. It’s about Democrats who will
protect a woman’s right to choose from the right-wing, children in our
schools from the NRA, and families at the border from Donald Trump.

It’s about Democrats who fight for multiracial inclusive populism.

It’s NOT about the Democrats beholden to Wall Street, corporate banks, and
insurance companies, deciding the fate of policies based on the amount of
money they’ll get for it. It’s not about the Democrats who refuse to fight
the NRA or drugs companies because they are afraid of attack ads funded by
dark money.

It’s not about Democrats who think by running on Republican-Lite policy
they can flip Trump-supporting Republicans to support the Democrat.

But the truth is, when the establishment puts its thumb on the scale, it
takes a heck of a lot of resources -- time, people, and money -- to beat
them.

Our team is fighting hard to fill Congress with progressive Democrats.
