I'm reaching out because Senator John Cornyn is failing Texans and the American people.

MJ Hegar is a combat veteran from Texas who was awarded a Purple Heart. She's a working mom with two kids. And she's a proven leader. When she was flying one of many search and rescue missions in Afghanistan, even after her chopper was shot down and she was wounded, she strapped herself to the skids of the rescue helicopter, protected her crew, and completed her mission.

Gang, it's been SIX MONTHS since the Senate passed any COVID-19 relief to help essential workers and American families! The House passed a COVID-19 relief bill months ago, but Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to even hold a vote on it. And John Cornyn backed him up, saying that there was "no urgency" to pass more relief.

No urgency?? Those are the words of a Senator turning his back on thousands of his constituents in desperate need of relief.

After helping McConnell ram through a Supreme Court Justice, Cornyn left Washington without doing squat for families, frontline and essential workers, nor for small businesses going under in a dire economic crisis.

MJ Hegar is capable and EAGER to serve the people of Texas! Will you pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford to send MJ to the U.S. Senate to get things DONE??

She'll fight to protect your health care and make sure you and your family have coverage for pre-existing conditions -- and she'll prioritize helping your family and your business get through the economic crisis. Polls in Texas show Hegar and Cornyn practically TIED. And with Texans turning out to vote in record-breaking numbers, MJ has a better-than-ever chance to win! If she wins, odds are that Democrats will take back the Senate majority!

Mitch McConnell knows this, and so does his right-hand man, John Cornyn -- which could be why a dark money super PAC and other groups such as Big Pharma and the Koch network are dumping money into Texas to defeat MJ!

But we can BEAT their mega-donor dollars with small donations from thousands of people of good will. Will you join the movement to defeat the mega-donors by donating $10 or whatever you can afford to help MJ win this race? Every dollar really does matter.
