John,

There are only 72 hours left until the country chooses our next President. And as we look back on the last four years, we know just how much is at stake in the final hours of this election. We know, because we kept track.

Since day one - literally on his inauguration day - Donald Trump has been working to rollback, undo, and block discrimination protections and the rights of transgender people. On that first day, just after taking the oath of office, Trump and his administration scrubbed all mentions of LGBTQ people from the websites of the White House, Department of State, and Department of Labor. They just couldn’t wait to needlessly attack us.

In the years since, the Trump administration-- or rather, the Discrimination Administration--has taken dozens more hurtful actions to harm trans people, but we have a chance to vote him out. We have the power to elect leaders who will make trans issues a priority. We have the power to make our voices heard.

Your vote matters. If you think it doesn’t, we’ve got 70 reasons it does.

Read our important thread on Twitter and share with your network to remind everyone what is on the line this Tuesday. We hope it will inspire you and your friends to cast your ballots if you haven’t already.

We know Donald Trump and his Discrimination Administration won’t stop their relentless attacks on the trans community, so it’s up to us to make sure he is a one-term president. It’s up to us to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris who will be allies in the White House.

With only hours left until this election ends, please make sure you get yourself to the polls and VOTE like your rights depend on it, because they do.

Sincerely,
