Here’s what our country simply cannot afford:
Another 4 years of Trump.
Another 4 years of Mitch McConnell’s Republican Senate majority.
Another 4 years of Trump and McConnell stacking our Supreme Court and other federal courts with nominees who will vote to rip away health care from people with pre-existing conditions (including COVID-19) in the middle of a pandemic.
Another 4 years of national policies fueled by white nationalist hate.

People For the American Way was built for this moment. Founded by Norman Lear, the late Barbara Jordan, and other leaders, our charge has been to defend the American Way from the very forces of bigotry, authoritarianism, and greed that right now threaten to uproot the American Experiment and lay waste to our constitutional democracy.
