I wanted to be straightforward with you -- this is going to be one of the longer messages I send you.

As you know, my team and I are up against our final monthly fundraising deadline before the election. So if you can, I would greatly appreciate if you could make a donation toward our team's goal >> [link removed]

Sending messages asking you to donate or sign this petition isn't my favorite thing to do. I know this is your hard-earned money, that you're busy, and that you're probably exhausted from keeping up with the news cycle.

But I'm reminded of the school motto of my alma mater, Seaholm High School, when I consider what's at stake in the years ahead: Think with reflection. Act with compassion. Perform with honor.

When I'm in Congress, I'm thinking of all of you. Whether or not you supported my candidacy or contributed or even agreed with me, I am fighting to represent you. And I'm reflecting on everyone who isn't here any longer: The generations and trailblazers of the past who gave everything to give us the opportunities we have today.

We have a duty to build on that progress and to open those doors of opportunities for others. When I reflect on how I'll vote, I consider the impact it will have on hard-working Americans, our seniors, those with disabilities, and our veterans. It's crucial we act with compassion and perform with honor.

The issues confronting our country and our communities might seem too daunting to address. But more than anything, I'm optimistic that we will bring that much-needed change and rise to the occasion as those before us have.

So while my time is devoted to defending our democracy in the halls of Congress, I would greatly appreciate if you could help my team take care of fundraising by making a donation toward our final monthly deadline before the election.

Sincerely,

Haley
