With just one day left this month and three days left until Election Day, I wanted to remind us all of the stakes of this election -- by looking to the past.

I'm forwarding you the very last email we sent before Election Day 2016 and let me tell you: it is haunting to say the least.

I think it's important we all take a moment to read this. We will always remember what we did, and how we felt, on November 8th, 2016.

But here's what else we know: the day after the election, we came back heartbroken, exhausted, and furious, and we got to work.

It's been four years since we sent this note, and we have not let up in our quest for real, progressive change in this country for a single day. Since then more than 60,000 women have signed up with EMILY's List to make a plan to run for office, our women flipped the House and made Nancy Pelosi our speaker again, and our EMILY's List governors have been the ones providing true leadership in the fight against COVID.

Pro-choice Democratic women were the right choice in 2016, and they are the right choice in 2020.

We have one final End-of-Month goal before Election Day this year. The deadline is midnight TONIGHT. Most people are giving $35 -- can you give generously to support our women?

We've been working hard for almost two years. We've been raising money, talking to friends and neighbors, making calls, and knocking on doors. However you've pitched in -- any victories tomorrow are yours.
