The Hill reports that “President Trump and his campaign are leaning into attacks on Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s family and business dealings in the closing days before the election, believing it reinforces their message of Trump being an outsider and Biden a lifelong Washington politician.”
It’s a despicable strategy. But Trump is committed to winning at all costs -- as he proved last year when he attempted to extort Ukraine over military aid in exchange for dirt on Joe Biden.
Biden has done his best to refrain from dignifying the attacks with a response, telling voters: “It’s not about his family and my family. It’s about your family, and your family’s hurting badly.”
Some voters are denouncing these attacks, while others are buying into Trump’s twisted narrative. We need to send a message that this kind of rhetoric has no place in political campaigns -- and that the vile man spouting it has no place in the White House. Will you help us? Tell us now:
