Dear John,
This is Movement Time!
Today, we reached our goal of contacting 2 million poor and low-income infrequent voters in key states where their vote can have the biggest impact. We're following up with everyone who still hasn't voted to make sure they can have their vote counted on Election Day. We have trained hundreds of poll monitors in these states, and lawyers are prepared to defend our right to vote in this critical election. On Election Day, our teams are ready to push reports form the field out over airwaves and social media so we can continue to shift the narrative of this election.
Everyday, we are praying together at 12pm (ET) to stay centered in this election season, and on Sunday morning Bishop Barber will give a national call to action in a sermon from the historic Rankin Chapel at Howard University.
On Election Day, beginning at 8:00 am (ET), we will broadcast 15-minute prayers every hour, and hold a special MORE Prophetic Vote Election Night Service from 9:00pm-11:30pm (ET).
We are building power among the poor, we are changing the narrative on systemic racism and poverty, and we are organizing to influence this election and the policies ahead. We do this not for any political party or candidate, but because we know that the power of poor and low-income people can and will change the heart and soul of this nation.
Thank you for powering this movement.
