People For's "Enough of Trump" campaign launched in August with a focus on the issues driving artists’ response to Trump, including his inflaming of racial tensions, encouraging violent and deadly policing, and his failure to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Since its launch, the campaign has received art contributions from some of the art world's top names, along with People For members, and members of the public - each underscoring the sentiment that as a nation, we've had ENOUGH of Trump. To elevate the artwork, People For launched an online store to highlight some of these incredible art pieces and placed over 50 billboards in 6 battleground states across the country. To commemorate this groundbreaking campaign, People For produced a mini-documentary highlighting the campaign's accomplishments and the great contributions from artists across the country. People For the American Way members fought hard to stop the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett and now following her confirmation, we're going to fight even harder to hold accountable those who voted to confirm her nomination. Along with our partners, People For led three virtual rallies that together reached over THREE MILLION people on Facebook, and we were joined by Senators Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Amy Klobuchar, Tammy Baldwin, and more. While Senate Republicans were successful in ramming through Amy Coney Barrett's nomination in their precedent-breaking power grab, we've mobilized a network of voters across the country who stand ready to hold them accountable. With a new Supreme Court term beginning later this month, Republicans see their chance to finally destroy the protections of the Affordable Care Act through the courts while they cynically tell their constituents they want to protect coverage for preexisting conditions. Health care is but one of many major issues before the Court this term; the justices will also be hearing cases on police violence, voting rights, religious liberty, LGBTQ+ equality, and limiting abuses of power by President Trump. People For’s Right Wing Watch has been monitoring and reporting on QAnon since it first emerged on the internet in 2017. A new report out this month presents a guide to the fundamentals of a movement that is now a serious threat to safety and democracy. Read more new reports from the Right Wing Watch team: As of October 30, the U.S. has counted more than nine million people who have been infected with COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. At least 228,700 Americans have died since January 2020, although experts agree that the actual toll is likely much higher. Since it began, Trump has refused to properly respond to the pandemic. Instead, he has chosen to politicize it and prioritize his own interests over saving lives and protecting the American people. Our nation’s greatest scientific minds agree that the pandemic “didn’t have to be this bad.” The duration, severity, and impact of this crisis is largely a problem with our leadership – and as a leader, Donald Trump has failed.
