Even in the midst of a global pandemic, California voters are doing their job and turning out to the polls in record numbers. Millions have already voted like their rights depend on it, and the ACLU of Northern California will be ready for whatever Election Day brings.
Here are three tips to keep in mind as we look ahead to Election Day:
ACLU attorneys like myself and our organizers have been laying the groundwork for this critical election for the past four years. Please know that we will be ready to protect the civil rights and civil liberties of all Californians, no matter what.
P.S. The election isn’t over until every eligible voter’s ballot is counted. It is unlikely that we will have clear results on Election Night, and that is okay.
