Hurricane Zeta made landfall in Southeast Louisiana on Wednesday, with thousands of residents suffering from severe wind damage and power outages.
As we continue to assess the damage from Hurricane Zeta and begin the road to recovery, I will continue working with local, state, and federal officials to ensure Louisiana has the resources we need to recover from Hurricane Zeta and the rest of this year’s busy hurricane season.

Assessing Hurricane Zeta Damage with the U.S. Coast Guard
On Friday, I joined the U.S. Coast Guard and Lafourche Parish President Archie Chiasson for a flyover of Hurricane Zeta damage. Louisiana is full of tough, resilient people. We’ve proved that before and we’re already proving that again. I will continue working to ensure Louisiana has the resources we need to recover and preserve our unique way of life.
