We here on Team VSA are usually big fans of the spooky season. We love candy and pumpkins and, of course, swarms of trick-or-treaters outfitted in adorable costumes. So we’ll be honest with you—this is not our ideal Halloween.
Normally, GOTV and Halloween are the two best (and maybe the only socially acceptable) times to get out and knock on your neighbors' doors and ask them for things.
But like everything else this year, this weekend is different, and we really have the chance to make this holiday whatever we want it to be. So were picturing this: Everything you love about Halloween (the costumes, the sweet treats, the spooky spirit) combined with phonebanking for Democrats up and down the ballot around the country to keep you safe and healthy and support our return to the streets for normal trick or treating ASAP. Our pals at Swing Left beat us to branding this "Call-o-Ween" so maybe we can all just agree to make it a thing.
Are we onto something here? Let’s just go with it.
