No, that’s not a story from The Onion. That’s the president of the United States calling a man who imprisons, tortures, and murders political opponents his “favorite dictator.” I’m sure Kim Jong Un will be disappointed to hear he didn’t make the cut.
America is supposed to be the leader of the free world, and our president should never be cozying up to dictators. By staying silent as Donald Trump continues to sink us lower and lower, Republicans are proving that they have abandoned any morals or values they once held. In 2020, it’s time to sweep them all out of Washington.
