This election, we have a chance to elect a gun violence prevention advocate for N.C. Lt. Governor: Yvonne Lewis Holley!

Since 2013, as a member of the NC House, Rep. Holley has voted against extremist policies like permitless carry. As Lt. Governor she will oppose campus carry and work to ensure that 18-year-olds with no training and no background checks can’t carry concealed firearms. She wants to make sure that people have background checks for buying any type of gun no matter where they buy it – including on the internet and at gun shows. 

Vote for Yvonne Lewis Holley for Lt. Governor!

The North Carolina Lieutenant Governor is the President of the Senate and casts tie-breaking votes. This election could result in a split Senate with both 25 Democrats and Republicans. If this happens, Yvonne’s tie-breaking vote would likely be the difference in finally passing programs and policies that better protect North Carolinians from gun violence.  

I love our state. I want to build a safer place for my family, and all North Carolina families. Electing Yvonne Lewis Holley will help us do that. Vote Yvonne Lewis Holley for NC Lt. Governor.
