This is Mike’s campaign manager, Joe O’Hern. We reached out yesterday to let you know that we need to make 100,000 calls before Election Day, and I want to let you know why these calls are so important.

Our race two years ago was Mississippi’s closest Senate race since 1982 – and now we’re neck-and-neck. We shrank a 25-point deficit in the polls down to just a single digit, outraised our opponent 45 to 1 in the last reporting period, and have now officially reached out to Mississippi voters more than one million times.

We have a real shot at winning this, and a win this Tuesday would mean so much. It would mean taking back the U.S. Senate. It would mean making Mike Espy Mississippi’s first Black senator since Reconstruction. And it would mean a voice for all Mississippians in the U.S. Senate – someone who will work tirelessly to get the people of this state the health care and economic opportunities they deserve.
