A couple weeks ago, Vice News sent a team down to VA-05 to join us on the campaign trail to get a feel for VA-05 and our race. When they asked Cameron about his plans and priorities if elected, he explained that his first priority will always be improving the lives of the Virginians here in the Fifth District. Cameron explained how he will put people above party and govern knowing that he is only beholden to the people he serves.

Cameron is listening to the people of VA-05 and thanks to all of our hard work, the people of VA-05 are listening to him, too. They know that Cameron believes in consensus-building and focusing on the critical issues we face like the COVID-19 recovery, expanding access to healthcare, and investing in education.

Those messages and our connections with voters are why the momentum is on our side in this race. When we first started, this race was considered “Likely Republican.” Now, it’s a “Toss-Up” and the latest polling shows us narrowly ahead.

The only thing standing in our way is Bob Good and his special interest allies who are pouring millions of dollars to try and mislead voters. They know that we’ve got a chance to win this thing, and they're making a desperate last-minute effort to change the tide of this race.
