It’s been an incredibly difficult week for the hundreds of Remington workers and their families affected by the layoffs in Ilion – and it’s an all-too-real reminder of what’s at stake in this election.

Claudia’s not sitting on the sidelines in this fight. 

She’s standing shoulder to shoulder with UMWA 717 and the 600+ Remington workers who are fighting for their hard-earned benefits, their livelihoods, and their futures – and Claudia’s not giving up until they get a fair shake.

Claudia’s in this fight to get results because that’s what REAL leaders do – and it’s sad that Brindisi has chosen to run and hide at a time when NY-22 needed a real leader in Washington.

And we’re happy to report that significant progress is being made and we’re moving closer and closer to bringing every last one of those workers back on the job so they can continue to keep the Remington tradition alive here in the Mohawk Valley.

This election is about doing what’s best for our district’s future and making sure that workers, families, and businesses here have somebody who they know will put it all on the line for them.
