Key battleground states including Florida and Arizona remain a tossup. Courts keep changing the rules about when mail-in ballots will be accepted. Who knows how many people will be unable to vote because of long lines.
We are staring a nightmare scenario right in the face: a contested election with Donald Trump rallying his base of white supremacists and militia groups to disrupt voting and ballot counting, along with armies of Republican corporate lawyers challenging every ballot and a GOP-packed Supreme Court stealing the election.
Fox News and the right-wing media machine will be pushing out lies to convince the American public that Trump was the rightful winner of the election.
