Dear DRA Family,

When COVID-19 prompted us to reimagine our in-person gala into a virtual celebration, we never could have anticipated the tremendous outpouring of support and generosity you showed.

You sponsored. You hosted. And, last night, hundreds of you joined our talented emcees Shane and Hannah from near and far to celebrate the work of DRA and the 30th anniversary of the ADA.

Experience the Celebration Again
Last night we raised $36K, which is over one third of our fundraising goal of $100K. We extend our deepest gratitude to YOU - our sponsors and donors. Your gift or pledge today can help us take advantage of the anonymous matching $50K gift and meet our $100K goal.

Don’t miss this opportunity to double your impact and have your tax-deductible gift to DRA matched dollar for dollar.

For nearly three decades, DRA has wielded the ADA and other disability rights laws to bring about justice for the those who are often overlooked. DRA breaks down illegal societal inequities by taking on giants and battling against great odds so that people with disabilities can exercise their civil rights to equal participation.

Collectively, 2020 presented challenges many of us wonder if we can overcome. DRA rose to those challenges. We expanded our work on behalf of ICE detainees; incarcerated youth; voters; students attempting to “distance learn”; patients in hospitals; people who are homeless; all with disabilities and many combating violence and systemic discrimination. DRA answered the call of our clients in response to a growing crisis of increasing inequity, in the face of a pandemic and an ongoing fight for racial justice. This is WHO WE ARE and who we have always been.

DRA’s work has never been more urgent. DRA’s work has never been more important. DRA has never needed your support more. With your investment we will continue to fight - and bring about justice for people with disabilities across the nation.

Onward!
