The finance team and I just finished our mid-month meeting and we decided that we need to touch base with our grassroots team about the figures. We’re 43.7% of the way to reaching our September goal. That means we’re behind where we need to be as of today. The end of September also marks the end of the quarter -- which means we’ll have to file a public fundraising report with the FEC. That’s two giant deadlines we need to make sure we hit. Can we count on you to help us stay on track to hit our third-quarter goal? It’s a big one, especially as more and more money pours into our district from outside special interests. Hitting these deadlines is a huge indicator that our campaign’s momentum is strong and we’re doing everything right when it comes to building a sustainable movement.
