Help Better Road Louisiana and Adrian Perkins flip the Senate! [[link removed]]

Time to pay up.

Hey team,

We want to make sure that you didn’t miss our email about Senator Bill Cassidy’s sweetheart deal with his Baton Rouge tax assessor. He thinks he can get away with not paying his fair share in property taxes. Not under our watch.

He’s sitting comfortably in his mansion while his Baton Rouge Tax Assessor covers for him. Pitch in $25 or whatever you can right now to help us hold Corrupt Cassidy accountable on November 3rd >>> [[link removed]]

Subject: Guess how much Sen. Cassidy pays in property taxes?

Friends,

Senator Bill Cassidy is all about greed.

It doesn’t take a real estate expert to know that your home has a comparable market value to those in your area. But not Cassidy’s home.

Baton Rouge mansions in his area range anywhere from $1.3 to nearly $4 million — while his 6,400 square foot lakefront mansion on a triple-sized lot is assessed at just $358,100. You read that right.

Above all, he took out a $720,000 mortgage and only pays $2,713.85 a year in property taxes. He should be paying at least three times as much. Once again, Sen. Cassidy proved that his bottom line is more important than his constituents. Pitch in $25 to help us hold Corrupt Cassidy accountable on November 3rd >>> [[link removed]]

Here’s the bottom line — Baton Rouge relies on property taxes to fund schools, its transit system, and its police and fire departments. And Cassidy isn’t paying his fair share. Our money is being pocketed while families and working people struggle. But Cassidy doesn’t care.

He’s sitting comfortably in his mansion while his Baton Rouge Tax Assessor covers for him. We’re sick and tired of the lies, the deceit, and the greed. Help us send him packing on Election Day >>> [[link removed]]

Better Road Louisiana

Better Road Louisiana is focused on ONE goal:
making sure Adrian Perkins unseats Bill Cassidy so we can flip the Senate BLUE.

Adrian is the current Mayor of Shreveport, a West Point graduate, Army Captain, and Bronze Star recipient who completed three tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Adrian turned down offers at big city firms to return to his home state. Now, he's running to be the first Black senator from the state of Louisiana and is KEY to flipping the Senate blue in 2020. To learn more, click here. [[link removed]]
