John, the electorate is changing.
All across the nation, it's getting younger and more diverse. Voters are making it clear that they don't want career politicians who put the ultra-rich and their corporate interests ahead of the people.
And in the South — specifically in South Carolina — there's no one better leading this charge than Jaime Harrison, who's running for the U.S. Senate against Lindsey Graham, one of Trump's biggest supporters and one of the Senate's most powerful Republicans. Most recently, he rammed through an extremist, illegitimate Supreme Court pick days before an election.
Current polling shows Jaime in a slight lead over Lindsey Graham, and that this race is for the taking. But Mitch McConnell's super PAC just bought $4 million worth of ads attacking Jaime over the weekend, right before Jaime and Lindsey's final debate tonight.
Lindsey Graham hasn't faced a serious challenger in years. But the grassroots movement that Jaime Harrison has built proves that South Carolinians are ready for real representation in the Senate, and Republicans are running scared. That's why Mitch McConnell and his allies are funneling millions of dollars into this race to do whatever they can to stop this movement dead in its tracks.
This race is in a dead heat. What we do now will decide whether or not we stop Lindsey Graham, flip the Senate, and protect everything from our health care to the future of the Supreme Court.
In solidarity,
Jamaal Bowman
