John,

This is the most consequential election of our time. So much is at stake
because we have to expand access to quality, affordable health care, stop
climate change from doing irreparable harm to our planet, and kick this
would-be dictator out of office.

And all across the country, people are responding: over 80 million
Americans have already cast their ballots. That is truly incredible.

But we have more work to do.

Republicans at every level of government, from state legislatures to the
Supreme Court, are doing everything they can to disenfranchise Americans
and stop us from exercising our constitutional right to vote.

We can’t let them succeed. Through the Protect America’s Vote program, DFA
is working in key battleground states across the country to mobilize
newly-registered and infrequent voters and help them overcome rampant
voter suppression.

This work is critical to defeating Donald Trump and electing progressives
across the country. But it takes significant resources. That’s why I’m
