Use of medicinal marijuana is becoming more common. With nearly 200,000
projected future patients in the state of New Jersey alone, the
medicinal marijuana patient population will be an increasingly important
segment of the health care system. In 2019, Shereef M. Elnahal and Jeff
Brown wrote on the blog, "To fulfill their mission, health care
facilities should better accommodate cannabis patients
."
