Investing Basics for Creative Professionals, Part 1 and 2

 

Part 1: Wednesday, November 4, 4-6 pm CT
Part 2: Thursday, November 12, 2-4 pm CT
Attendance at both sessions is recommended but not required

Join The Actors Fund and David Maurice Sharp, author of The Thriving Artist, for this informative and engaging webinar specifically designed for creative professionals.

Learn the elements of a sound financial plan, including assessing your comfort level with risk, the basics of different types of investments, and ideas for creating a portfolio with limited and varying income. This webinar will also explore individual retirement accounts, social security income and Union pensions. David will demystify the jargon and help you understand how to begin (or continue!) to integrate wealth-building into your financial life, and what you need to know about investing amid the Covid-19 crisis.

The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of online programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals to identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.

Get started by attending The Career Center Orientation (late morning* or afternoon**) to enroll in the career services offered.
