** Health & Health Insurance

The Actors Fund offers personalized health insurance counseling and enrollment support, referrals to health care resources, and seminars on how to care for yourself.

The Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts ([link removed][UNIQID]) , our primary and specialty care health center, is open for appointments. The Health Center accepts most insurance plans, including commercial insurances, several Marketplace/Exchange plans, Medicare and Workers’ Compensation. Call 212.930.7300 for an appointment.

The Actors Fund and Mount Sinai are offering free flu shots for those in our performing arts and entertainment community who don’t have insurance. Your flu vaccine will be easy, free, convenient and safe. Make your appointment at The Friedman Health Center for November 11 or 12! ([link removed][UNIQID])

Each month’s Health Insurance HQ ([link removed][UNIQID]) provides an update on the health care landscape from the expert team at The Actors Fund’s Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC).
