ADL Launches Online Election Incident Reporting Tool in Response to Concerns of Extremist Interference
In response to growing concerns that extremists could attempt to interfere at the polls in the next few days as Americans cast their ballots, ADL has established a new online incident reporting tool that will enable voters to flag any potential hate crimes or disruptions involving extremists.

ADL and National Urban League Announce Expansion of Partnership Focusing on Voting Rights and Other Civil Rights Issues in 2020 and Beyond
Last week, the National Urban League announced the expansion of a partnership in service of fighting racism, antisemitism and advocating around issues of mutual concern. The partnership is intended to create deep relationships on the ground through the next generation of leaders, uniting each organization’s existing young professional cohort into a powerful network. The initiative is already underway in Philadelphia with a voting rights pilot project entitled “Our Time, Our Vote.”

tried to elevate Black women but, as ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt wrote in a response piece, “it failed to address Louis Farrakhan’s bigotry.” Greenblatt calls out the paper for it’s “shocking omission” in not mentioning Farrakhan’s serial bigotry in a piece about the history of the Million Man March. Northam Can Remove Lee Statue in Richmond, Judge Rules
"Gov. Ralph Northam can remove this city's towering tribute to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, a circuit court judge ruled Tuesday. But the judge also halted the governor from acting immediately, allowing the group trying to preserve the statue to mount an appeal," The Washington Post reported. The legal battle started in June after Northam ordered the statue be removed.

The Glass Leadership Institute (GLI) is the cornerstone leadership development program at ADL. GLI empowers young professionals to fight hatred and bigotry in their own communities.
The Washington, DC cohort unites activists and supporters interested in learning about effective advocacy and leadership in pursuit of ADL’s mission. Participants are provided with opportunities for team-building and socializing with their classmates and for engaging with ADL’s local and national leadership.
