In just a minute, I will personally ask you to add a contribution to our grassroots campaign for U.S. Senate. But first, let me explain why this is so important:
Donald Trump is in Minnesota today to campaign for our opponent, just as two recent polls show our Senate race locked in a virtual tie.
Look, I know exactly why Trump decided to come back at this particular moment in our race. Our lead has shrunk and the Trump campaign’s internal polling shows a “tightening race” in Minnesota. So, he’s trying to shake us with a last-minute visit.
Republicans are laser-focused on flipping Minnesota red — with a recent report even saying Trump is “placing his final bet” on Minnesota. That’s why I’m expecting him to personally attack me again at today’s rally. And with GOP dark money groups spending nearly $1 million to defeat our campaign right now, there’s no doubt they’ll amplify whatever he says.
We need every available resource to fight back in these final days. The only way we can counter Trump and the GOP’s massive war chest is by collecting as many grassroots donations as possible. So, I’m personally asking you:
