As campaign manager, I regularly send Jared updates outlining the key information he needs to know about the state of our race.
So, with just four days to go until Election Day, I thought I’d try the same approach with this grassroots team. Here goes:
→ The situation: We’re facing our final end-of-month fundraising deadline of the election tomorrow night, and we’re still $14,318 short of where we need to be.
→ The stakes: If we don’t meet this goal, I’ll have to start looking into areas of the budget that need to be cut -- which, at this stage in the race, will inevitably include organizing and outreach programs. In a district this competitive, that could mean the difference between winning and losing.
→ The ask: Can you chip in any amount right now to help us meet this goal and carry out all of our crucial plans ahead of Election Day? Every dollar you give has a real-world impact on our ability to win this race, so I hope we can count on your support!
