After a sham confirmation process, the Senate voted this week to confirm anti-ACA, anti-Roe v. Wade Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. We responded by launching a bold, aggressive initiative calling for immediate Court expansion.

With Amy Coney Barrett, a far-right judge with a troubling record, filling Justice Ginsburg’s vacancy, there is an illegitimate Republican majority on the Supreme Court. The Court is ideologically unbalanced -- and as a result, healthcare protections and reproductive freedom could be stripped from millions of Americans. 

We need to add four seats to the Supreme Court and appoint justices who will restore balance and legitimacy. It’s the only way to protect our basic constitutional rights.
