Hi Friend,
**Deep Breath**
It's spooky season and
I hope you are as well as can be expected. I am sending
you our love and care and a gentle consensual hug. You are part of our
URGE community, and we will get through whatever comes next
together.

As the anxiety and frustration build in
the leadup to the general elections, know that you are not alone. No
court can stop the momentum building in our communities, and that is
because of supporters like you,
.
So, let’s take a deep breath, take a pause,
and read some good news:
In the past five months, 45 canvassers across
Alabama, Ohio, and Texas talked to 16,580 voters and deepened the
conversation with 7,086 voters about reproductive justice
issues.

|
|
In
2020 we trained 762 young people in Kansas, Texas, Ohio, Georgia,
Alabama, and California to organize for reproductive justice in their
communities.
|
Our goal is simple: to develop and
sustain a generation of young leaders actively engaged in political
and policy processes year-round, not just every two or four
years.
I’ll end
with this: Election
seasons come and go, but our community and the young people’s
reproductive justice movement are in this with you today, tomorrow, and in the
years to come. We will share more about this in our Election
Report,
which comes out next
week!
Ooh, and
before I forget, join us
on Instagram @urge_org coming up at 2 pm ET/1 pm CT/11 am
PT, where
Jaz, URGE’s Digital Campaigns Manager, will be discussing our current
expectations for what is to come after November 3rd.
Happy Mischief Night!!
Till next time,
|
