Encourage Governor Steve Bullock to Run for Senate

Action item: Join the effort to help persuade Montana Governor Steve Bullock to run for the US Senate.

The idea began with an op-ed by David Leonhardt in the NYTimes, “‘Steve Bullock Is the Most Important Person on the Planet’ ([link removed]) .” As Leonhardt explains, Democrats need a net gain of three seats (and the presidency) to gain control of the Senate. Prospects look good for Democrats in Arizona and Colorado; Maine, North Carolina, and Iowa are contestable—which brings us to Steve Bullock, the popular Democratic governor of Montana. Republican Steve Daines will stand for re-election in 2020. Leonhardt argues that Bullock is key to Democratic prospects for gaining control of the Senate.

Leonhardt's article has prompted efforts to send Governor Bullock postcards as soon as possible asking him to please run for US Senate in 2020. Please help flood Governor Bullock's mailbox with the message that we need him to run for the US Senate and be part of winning a Democratic majority in the US Senate in 2020.

LETTER WRITING PARTY

McClintock has been pretty quiet recently. No comments in response to the blatant misuse of tax dollars. "The AG is holding a private party at the President’s hotel. The VP is staying 180 miles away from his meetings to stay at the President’s resort. The President is pushing his own resort to host the G7 next year. The corruption can’t be more obvious."
Let's explain to our community how McClintock does not serve our District.
