Coronavirus update
From Friday 30 October, Nottingham will be placed under Tier 3 Very High Alert restrictions.
- It is essential you wear a face covering for the entirety of your journey if using public transport
- Plan ahead and avoid travelling at peak times and on busy routes if you can
- Keep your distance from others as best you can. If your usual journey looks busy and overcrowded, consider alternative transport options
- Always wash your hands before/after your journey
- Avoid travelling outside of the area unless for work, education or care purposes
- Do not travel if you or anyone you live with are experiencing symptoms of Coronavirus

Oundle Drive/Middleton Boulevard EATF scheme to be made permanent
Following a successful trial and feedback, the pop-up cycle lane on Oundle Drive/Middelton Boulevard is being improved and will be made permanent.

🚍Bus updates
- Victoria Bus Station remains closed due to resurfacing works. Pedestrian access and access to the Travel Centre will remain available. Temporary bus stops will be in use nearby.
- From Monday 2 November, NCT will be adding extra buses to some routes to provide additional capacity on busy journeys. For more information...
Roadworks
Monday 7 September - Wednesday 28 July 2021: Cobden Street (Lenton)
Suspension of parking along Cobden Street to Stanfield Street junction on both sides due to demolition and redevelopment of old martial arts centre.
Wednesday 28 October - Tuesday 3 November: Ingram Road (Bulwell)
Emergency road closure at the junction with Broomhill Road to replace a dangerous link box.
Thursday 29 October - Wednesday 30 June 2021: Western Boulevard (Whitemoor)
Various lane closures at the junction with Nuthall Road due to traffic signal installations and improvements, crossing and footway widenings, and resurfacing works.
Saturday 31 October - Sunday 1 November: Lenton Boulevard (Lenton)
Three way lights at the junction with Ashburnham Avenue due to the installation of ducting in the footway.
Monday 2 November - Monday 9 November: London Road (BBC Island) (City Centre)
Lane closure outside of Monkfish Developments to install a substation.
Thursday 5 November - Monday 9 November: Trent Lane (Sneinton)
Parking suspension outside the former Merrill Brown factory due to electrical works.
Emergency Active Travel Fund
As part of the ongoing EATF scheme, some changes have been made to the road layout throughout the Arboretum and in the surrounding streets of Derby Road.
If you regularly drive through or live in or near these areas, please take the time to familiarise yourself with these changes.
Highways England Clifton Bridge repairs
Highways England is continuing to carry out works to repair and strengthen the A52 Clifton Bridge.
