Hey John — Sophie here again with an update from the campaign trail.

Throughout this election cycle, we’ve been building an infrastructure to boost Sheriff Penzone’s message and maximize our voter outreach.

We’ve covered Maricopa County with our yard signs, exposed our opponent for the crony he is (like when he was held in contempt for lying to the court, or when he protected a bad detective for his own personal gain), and built a campaign responsive to the pandemic-environment.

Now, we’ll see if all of our hard work has paid off as voters mail in their ballots, cast their early votes, and make plans to vote on November 3rd. We need to finish this campaign as strong as we started — Will you chip in to help us hit our final goal and re-elect Sheriff Penzone?

As the Sheriff’s Campaign Manager, I’ve been in charge of making sure we’re fully adjusted to a digital-first campaign ever since COVID-19 shut down our in-person events.

While Jerry Sheridan continues to attend in-person rallies and recklessly disregard the spread of the virus here in Arizona, we’ve had to be savvy about how to safely reach voters and not lose a step.

Virtual phone banks and voter registration drives have replaced door-knocking and crowded town halls, and I’m proud of how nimble and effective this campaign has become. With 4 days to go until the final votes are tallied, we can’t let our foot off the gas.
