HOPE not hate

John --

Yesterday the Equalities and Human Rights Commission released their long-awaited report into Antisemitism in the Labour Party.

I wanted to share with you some resources from us, and from friends of ours, that will help to explain exactly what happened and, crucially, what it means.

First up, here is our statement on the report:

Next, read this statement from our friends at the Jewish Labour Movement:

Third, check out this blog by Chair of Young Labour Miriam Mirwitch:

Then, watch the brilliant Ruth Smeeth describe the real-life impact of antisemitism:

And fifth, read this article by Jessica Elgot about those who organised for whisteblowers to speak to the EHRC:

Finally, I just want to finish by praising the work of all of those who put so much work into making this happen, and those who spent the last five years standing up against antisemitism in the Labour Party.

If you haven't already, I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to join our friends the Jewish Labour Movement as an ally member.

They have done so much fantastic work over the years, and especially in the months leading up to this report, and they deserve everyone's praise and full support.

Thank you.
