I got into this race because I love Mississippi, and I’m tired of our state being last in the nation — last in health care, education, and economic opportunity. For far too long, Mississippi has been ignored. So I finally said enough is enough.

But we’ve been fighting an uphill battle. When we started this campaign, I was down 25 points in the polls, and people said I was crazy for trying to unseat a Republican Senator in Mississippi. But then, something happened.

A few folks chipped in $5, $10, or $25 to our campaign, giving us more resources to spread our message across the state. Then, people chipped in a little more and we put our message online and on TV. More and more people became part of the Mississippi momentum. And just like that, more folks joined this fight.

Now, this race is down to single digits and we have a real shot at making history in just four days — all thanks to grassroots donors.

We are preparing to face the final fundraising deadline of this campaign tomorrow night. After we close the books, our team will evaluate our resources and make critical decisions on what we can spend in these final four days — it’s so important that we knock it out of the park.

So, here comes the part where I humbly ask:
