Dear John,

Juana* escaped Honduras with her daughters Paula and Norma. They fled to the
U.S. as a family to seek asylum.

But ICE sent Paula to Mexico and forced Juana and Norma into a detention center
in Dilley, Texas. No one has heard from Paula since. Juana’s anguish is something no parent should ever have to experience.

John, seeking safety is NOT a crime. We must do

Juana and Norma are just one of the nearly ninety families seeking safety in the
U.S. from violence and persecution who have been locked up by ICE. Four-year-old
Norma has grown despondent, depressed, and constantly asks when she and her mom
can leave the facility. Her mother doesn’t know how to answer her anymore.

Now and in the crucial weeks ahead, we are aggressively ratcheting up our
efforts to shine a light on family immigration detention. Your donation will

as launch billboards and trucks (pictured above) in cities and towns across the
