Steps to begin negotiations with a Greenleaf Gardens co-developer are paused

In April of 2019, the DC Housing Authority (DCHA) released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking a partner to redevelop the 15-acre Greenleaf Gardens public housing community in Southwest DC. Now, the agency has a co-developer in mind — although it will have to wait before beginning negotiations.

Police release footage from the moped crash that killed Karon Hylton

Police released body camera footage from the incident that killed Karon Hylton while he was riding a moped last week. The footage shows police following him down an alley with flashing lights before he crashed into another vehicle, possibly violating police rules against chasing for traffic violations.  (DCist)

Virginia and Maryland receive federal railroad grants

Details emerge about the bicyclist struck and killed by a DC police officer

Women’s shelter near Mount Vernon Triangle will close for repairs
