John -- Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is a hypocrite.

Remember when he stole a Supreme Court nominee from President Obama? His bogus argument claimed that the American people should get to decide during an election year.

Well now, McConnell is backtracking on his own made-up rule and promising to fill the bench if a seat becomes vacant before the 2020 election.

It’s shameless, spineless, and completely self-serving.

The Supreme Court will shape our country for generations to come, ruling on everything from immigrant rights to abortion. We cannot let a Republican Senate continue to pack our courts with radical far-right judges.
