In April, we brought real leaders from real communities to Washington, D.C. - like Vernell Robinson from Far Rockaway, New York, Tiana Caldwell from Kansas City, Missouri, and Daisy Vega from Los AngelesPOWER LA - so they could meet with progressive lawmakers on Capitol Hill in a first-ever Homes Guarantee briefing.
Lawmakers listened, and now they’re preparing to introduce bills in Congress that can turn this vision into a reality. Candidates are listening, too - as soon as we announced our Homes Guarantee, they started calling to ask how they can support this.
