In just a moment I’m going to ask if you can donate $5 to help Democrats win back the Senate Majority in November. But first, I want to take a moment to tell you more about this project and why your support is so vital right now.

To recover from this crisis and rebuild this country so it works for working people, we’re going to need to make a lot of big, structural change in 2021 and beyond.

But that’s only going to be possible if Democrats take back the Senate. Otherwise, we’ll just keep bumping up against Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and he’ll just keep saying no, no, no.

Now, we’ve got a lot of opportunities for Democrats to win enough Senate seats to take back control. But first, we need to get organized and get into this fight.

And that’s where the Blue Senate Candidate Fund comes in. They’re working directly with Democratic Senate candidates in 11 battleground states to raise the grassroots donations they need to stay competitive.

They’ve set an ambitious — and critically important — goal of raising money directly for Democratic candidates to help them fight back against the waves of Republican Super PAC spending they’re facing.

And by working directly with Democratic Senate Campaigns — instead of spending their budget on a bunch of DC consultants — Blue Senate stretches your dollar further. That’s because candidates get cheaper ad rates on TV and radio than outside groups do. In fact, it would take a Koch-funded Super PAC $2-3 dollars to match every $1 a Democratic candidate spends.

So let’s work harder than the Republicans — and smarter. Let’s fight side by side, and let’s flip the Senate.
