Families Belong Together

John,

We’ve fought together for years to build a country that truly reflects our values—one where all children can be safe with their loved ones, and families can thrive, safe and together.

Our movement has made a huge difference, but the fight is far from over. Just last week, we learned 545 kids ripped away from their families over three years ago were never reunited with their parents.

Take a minute to watch and share this video from Families Belong Together’s Director, Paola Luisi, about what’s at stake in the fight to reunite families, and the fight ahead.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the fear and cruelty countless families are facing.

We need to do everything we can to spread the message far and wide: children are counting on us.

Thousands of children lay awake at night in fear for their loved ones in detention centers. And countless people who come to this country looking for safety are met with violence and abuse.

The future of these families, and our entire country, hangs in the balance. How we treat families and children will ultimately determine what kind of country we’re going to be: one defined by care and compassion for all, or by cruelty and callousness.

The stakes have never been higher than they are now. Help spread the word and share this video now with your networks so we can build this strong movement together.
